Information we collect
We collect information from users when they engage in activities like registering on our site as a customer or developer, subscribing to our newsletter, filling out a form, purchasing a product, uploading a product, etc. This information may include name, email address, mailing address, and others as we see fit. Users may visit our site anonymously, however. We will only collect personal information from users if they voluntarily provide it to us. The refusal of personal identification is possible. This may prevent them from engaging in some site related activities.
We only process payments through Paypal, thus we do not even have access to credit card information and such sensible data.
Our use of collected information
InTheBox Soundshop may use the collected users’ personal information to improve our customer service, personalize user’s experience, process payments, deliver orders, and send periodic emails.
We may use the user’s email address to send information and updates related to placed orders or products, company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and other requests. The user can unsubscribe from our mailing list by request, as well as by following the instructions that we include at the bottom of each email.
Once a user places an order within our site, we may share some information related to that specific order with the product provider(s) (developer) who offered the purchased product(s) on our site. This information may include name, email, product name, price, date and hour, and other non-sensitive data. The developer may use this information for the purposes outlined above.
We will not share this information with outside parties otherwise.
We do not sell, trade, or rent users’ personal information.
